AYUTTHAYA Travel information

AYUTTHAYA used to be the ancient capital of Thailand. It can be reached from Bangkok by train from the Hualamphong (Bangkok central station). Train ticket is only 15B. The taxi getting to the train station is more expensive. There is a guest house district at the north eastern part of the town (near a shopping mall). You can get to the town from the train station by ferry (5B). The ferry is just across the train station.
