kuangxi fall

Kuangxi Fall

Kuangxi Fall can be reached from Luang Prabang. As you can see from my photos, I took more pictures of the leeches than the fall. That tells you how interesting the waterfall is to me. Nevertheless, it's one of the most famous waterfalls in Laos. Don't get me wrong, Laos is a very interesting country, this waterfalls is a bit let down for me. You can swim in the waterfall. You can also hike to the source of Kuangxi fall, the hike is more interesting than the pool you see at the top (thanks to the leeches). Tips for removing leeches: use salt or cigarette, do not pull it off directly or you may bleed to death (the leech has some special chemicals to unclog the blood).
