AYUTTHAYA Travel information

AYUTTHAYA used to be the ancient capital of Thailand. It can be reached from Bangkok by train from the [[Hualamphong]] (Bangkok central station). Train ticket is only 15B. The taxi getting to the train station is more expensive. There is a guest house district at the north eastern part of the town (near a shopping mall). You can get to the town from the train station by ferry (5B). The ferry is just across the train station.
